The job incumbent will be involved in the planning and managing the successful conceptualization, design, development, launch, and ongoing live operation of the project. The required incumbent should match the following responsibilities.
The success or failure of a project in its entirety and simultaneously must balance a client’s expectations and budget limitations.
Clients’ requirements gathering and analysing before the commencement of the project.
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Work closely with design and engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
Evaluate plans to ensure that they are consistent with project objectives and that the message is effectively conveyed
Managing clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure that projects are successful in meeting their goals
Manage the entire lifecycle of the project and is expected to contribute to the design, production, testing, launching, operation, and support of the project.
Fostering a strong relationship between the client and internal team (design and development teams)
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the development and sales team.
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to complete the project.
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities and meets the commercial needs of the client.
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion and ensure the process steers the project towards these goals.
Oversee project execution
Develop forms and records to document project activities in the augmentation of internal company project management and communication tools.
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments where necessary.
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project.
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team regularly to ensure that it meets company and project standards.
3.Project Analysis and Coordination
Analyze projects from the perspective of stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and consumers; define project objectives & KPIs.
Coordinate between the client and the project team to create and execute project timelines.
Monitor project cost projections and report actual project costs and variances to the Head of Department.
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or similar
Project Management Certificate or Diploma is a requirement
Experience in Software environment preferably a Telco or Systems Integrators
Experience in Project Management
Familiar with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, continuous integration, Jira
Client Relationship Management Skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Highly proficient in English (both writing and speaking)
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
